Rond deze tijd zijn de dagen en nachten even lang, omdat de Zon loodrecht op de evenaar staat. Het is tevens de astronomische start van de lente. Dit geldt ook voor de astrologie, want het eerste teken van de Zodiac, de Ram is het eerste sterrenbeeld van de dierenriem. De Ram staat voor actie, een nieuw begin, er worden zaken geïnitieerd. Ook Venus komt op een paar graden na in de kielzog van de Zon en maakt ook de overstap naar het teken Ram. Dit is extra veel Venus en Zon energie. Helaas moeten de twee planeten de negatieve werking van Cheiron trotseren, en dit kunnen wat pijnlijke herinneringen vanuit ons zielsgeheugen opleveren. Verder is het opmerkelijk dat de Maan bij Mars en de Node staat. Het lijkt alsof ook de kosmos zich ermee bemoeid en er kosmische energieën aangestuurd worden. Dat wat je nu initieert is het thema voor het komende jaar. Daar wordt je ook bij geholpen omdat de Node geactiveerd wordt en de Zon erbij staat.
